Super Cute Pin Board Made From Corks

So have a million corks! (Ok, maybe mot a million but a bunch) and I really wanted to do something fun with them. I tried trivets, and cutting them, and putting thread around the edges. All to no avail. They just never turned out how I pictured them to look, BUT I finally found a couple of things to make with them and I am really happy with the results.

The first thing I made was a cork Pin board, and I really love the way it turned out! I m super excited to put Christmas cards on it this year but I think I will leave it up year round for other decorations or reminders, or appointments. You name it, it will work. And the beat part is that it is super skinny so you can hang it about anywhere!



















So here is what I did...

First I hot glues all the corks together in a row.  Use as many as you want, get crazy!  (Mine is maybe 3 feet tall.)









then I added a strip of felt to the back...























And done-ski!

How stinkin' cute is this.  I really love it, I kind of want to make another one to put in the kids room.  They always have things they want to hang on the walls and this would give them a place to put things.    LOVE IT!
