Tortillas!!!!

DIY Tortillas

Ok, so I have been wanting to make my own tortillas for about forever (well, maybe not forever, but since I started Pinterest, which seems like forever, at least I don't know what I did pre pinterest).  And it turns out they are sooooooooooo super easy.  I will for sure never buy them again!

Here is where I found the recipe...  The Urban Spork  and they are fabulous!

First roll them into a ball

roll them out...

throw 'em in a hot pan...

flip...

and done!

It was a super fun family activity too.  (I made my husband roll them out and I just cooked.)  And they were fast.  You only cook them for about 30 seconds on each side so I had a pile of tortillas in no time flat.

See our staging area.  We played a bit, made them all shapes and sizes.  oblong, round, square, it was fun!
