DIY Dandelion Wall Decoration For The Living Room

DIY Canvas wall painting...

This is so easy, anyone can do this!  No painting skills required.

All you are going to need is 3 canvases, and some blue, yellow and white paint (I didn't have the colors I wanted so I ended up mixing a few together.)

So first, paint all three canvases blue...

Now with the white or yellow draw a curved line on one of the canvases for the stem with a circle at the top.

Now for the floaty bits…  Start adding stars all around the circle and drifting away across all three canvases.

Here is another view, a little closer this time.  See, I just made a 'Y' shape with an extra line in the middle.

And they start floating away.  Add a couple, take a step back, see if you like it, add a couple more, check where there are more needed, until you are happy with it!

See, how simple, and you are going to LOVE it!

2 Minute Bathroom Accessories

Q-Tip and Cotton Ball Jar

Isn't this the cutest thing ever?  I seriously love it!  Ok, I may feel a little silly blogging about it but I really thought it was so cute, I just had to share.

And made from things I already had in  my house.  As a matter of fact, I needed to clear out some of my junk just sitting collecting dust.  I truly love the blue ball jars and the old insulators.  I have several and just cant bring myself to get rid of them.

I thought this was a great way to integrate the look into rooms other than my kitchen too!

All you are going to need is a canning jar and an old insulator.

Fill the jar with cotton balls....

fill the insulator with Q-tips....

And fit the insulator on top of the jar!  See, almost too easy to share with you.  But ho wmuch do you love it.

Silk Flower Vases

Super easy vases made out of simple and cheap products!!

First you will need:

Water Noodle
Construction paper 8x11
Cute Silk Flower
Knife
Tape
Small Rock - one that can fit into the middle of the noodle

First cut the noodle to the desired height of the vase, but keep under 11" so the paper will cover. Next, wrap the paper around the noodle and tape.

Now, put the rock in the hole of the noodle in the bottom of the "vase." Lastly, add the flower. I had to cut my flower stem down to fit the vase.

I was able to buy everything at the dollar store!

I was using these for table decorations at my youngest daughter's birthday so I added a number "2" and some glitter.

So easy and cute!

Thanks for reading!

Holiday Decorating Week and Cheap and easy Christmas decorations

Easy Peasy Cabinet Door Decoration

Now lets kick off easy holiday decorating week.  I am really getting into this weekly theme thing.  Maybe it will be a trend (probably  not, but a girl can dream!)

I recently went to a holiday party where the host had the cutest decorations. This one was my favorite and I just had to do it at my own house.

All you need is a roll of ribbon and gift card boxes. I got mine at the dollar store, a 4 pack actually. These were left over from last year too. The woman I am copying actually had the traditional red bows in the middle of hers but I didn't have any of those.

Just tape the ribbon in a "t"

and paper clip the box in the middle to look like a tag.

I liked this so much that I'm pretty sure I will be doing this every year!
