Now that it is summer, memories of the State Fair come flooding back with a vengeance. I don't know about you, but every year when we went to the fair we got a monkey tail. I loved them as a kid and wanted my kids to enjoy them just as much. What a great activity to share with them too!
So here's what we did…
Melt chocolate over a double boiler to melt.
slice the bananas and place on sticks.
When the chocolate is melted dip the bananas in the chocolate then in the sprinkles or other toppings of your choosing.
We did oreo pieces, small sprinkles, large chocolate candy coated sprinkles, almonds, pistachios, and animal shaped sprinkles.
Now here is the hard part, place in the freezer and don't eat them until they are frozen (about 2 hours).
