A Super Fun Loft Playhouse Bed...
So my husband has been working in a project for the kids. An new playhouse bed.
The kids are super fired up and so am I. We can't wait for it to be finished but here are some pics of the progress.
We got the plans from
Ana White's site. Here is the direct link to the plans for
this bed. (We are also doing the add on
storage stairs.) I don't know if you have made anything from her but she is Fabulous! We have her book too! There a several projects in there that will be on the 'honey to make for me' list too.
As slow as the girls think it is coming, really he is doing a great job putting it together in off hours.
We let the kids pick the colors and this is what they came up with. I was a little leary that it was going to be too dark but I caved and thought, 'it's theirs. Let them have it.' And I am so glad I did! I think the colors are
great,
perfect, no, they are phenomenal. And they decided on a pale yellow for the walls. What! How fabulous will that look?
Like I said, we are super excited for the finished product! Soon, soon.
